Operating inside the vertical or horizontal annealing furnaces of Continuous Galvanizing Lines (CGL), Furnace Rolls (Hearth Rolls) are subjected to extreme heat environments ranging from 750℃ to over 950℃ under a reducing hydrogen-nitrogen atmosphere. Our premium furnace rolls are engineered to support long-campaign strip transit, guaranteeing zero structural deformation and exceptional thermal fatigue resistance.
Crucially, our rolls are designed with proprietary surface treatments that eliminate "nodulation" or "pickup" (the accumulation of iron particles or oxides on the roller face), ensuring the passing steel strip remains flawless and free of surface scratches.
Superior Centrifugal Casting Metallurgy: The roll barrels are cast via advanced Centrifugal Casting using premium heat-resistant alloys (such as HP40, HU, HK40, or Cr-Ni-Nb modified steels) to prevent high-temperature creep and localized warping.
Anti-Nodulation Thermal Spray Coatings: Armored with proprietary LC1C (Chromium Carbide-Nichrome) or MCrAlY + Ceramic coatings via HVOF or Plasma spraying. This prevents chemical bonding between the strip and the roll face, extending the roll's campaign life inside the furnace.
Precision Taper & Profile Design: Engineered with specialized crown profiles (e.g., parabolic, cylindrical-conical) to optimize strip tracking and prevent strip wrinkling or heat buckling under high thermal stresses.
