Superior Quality Godet Roller can Help Optimize Carbon Fiber, PTFE Yarns etc Fiber Quality

Date Issued:2026-05-04

The godet roller serves as a core temperature-controlled transmission component in production lines for synthetic fibers(like PTFE yarn, carbon fiber and so on). At its core, the device consists of a standardized, fixed heating module comprising an electromagnetic coil and an electronic control system. The equipment operates in two modes: fixed and rotary; within the industry, the rotary mode is predominant. While the fixed-type guide roller requires no external power transmission, it suffers from poor stability during fiber stretching and is highly prone to fiber breakage issues; conversely, the rotary structure ensures smooth material conveyance, thereby effectively preventing material fracture failures.

The standard operating temperature range for this equipment is 250–400°C. To ensure precise temperature control, a 300mm buffer zone is reserved on the working surface of the roller body to compensate for heat loss dissipated by the side plates and bearings during operation, thereby guaranteeing uniform and stable temperatures within the central working zone of the roller. Furthermore, the equipment supports a variety of communication protocols—including ProfiNET, RS-485, and RS-232—enabling seamless integration with host systems for the real-time transmission of roller temperature and operational status data.

Regarding the power control system, when utilizing the proprietary matching motor, both temperature and operating speed can be displayed simultaneously via the electronic control cabinet. When adapting to customer-specified motors, users need only input the corresponding motor model parameters to receive equipment signals, thereby achieving integrated monitoring and synchronized control of both speed and temperature data.
