Description of Slitter Nip Roll
The main functions of the high speed slitter nip roll include providing the necessary pressure, ensuring the material is flat, preventing the material from slackening and ensuring slitting accuracy.
Provide the necessary pressure, the slitter nip roll provides additional load during the slitting of BOPP and BOPET or other materials. With the increase of the films roll diameter, the position of the press roll gradually rises, and the provided load gradually decreases. Eventually, when the roll diameter reaches a certain value, the load provided by the pressure roller is zero.
Ensure the material is flat, the slitter nip roll helps keep the material flat during rewinding by applying the appropriate pressure, avoiding wavy or unevenness. This is essential for ensuring the quality of the final product.
To prevent material slackness, during slitting process, the slitter nip roll applies pressure to prevent material slackness, ensuring that the material remains tense during the slitting process, thus avoiding inaccurate cutting or material damage caused by slackness.
